UNESP Project manager meet ECC CEO

Rudolf Elbling UNESP project manager in Afghanistan met with Independent Complaints Commission’s CEO Chaman Shah Etemadi at ECC central office today.
They discussed about implementation of UNESP programs for ECC in 2021 and extension of this project until end of 2022.
Mr. Elbling explained about the support that project is aiming to provide on capacity building of ECC staff in 2021.
Mr. Elbling further informed and said that, “with the financial support from international community, we are trying to extend this project until end of 2022.
He requested ECC leadership to share the agreement for extension of this project in an official letter with stakeholders as soon as possible.
ECC CEO Chaman Shah Etemadi appreciated the technical support and cooperation provided by the UN Election Support Project in Afghanistan. He further said, “Independent Electoral Complaints Commission is always keen on about the support of international communities’’. He underscored the extension of the project as a good opportunity for reinforcement of election process and using of available resources.
